Hellothere
It's little strange how watchtower warns about material things, fame and careers. JWs hear that message for decades in their kingdom Hall's. But as soon as famous person gets baptised they all go crazy with admiration on social media.
.
not sure if this is fake news or not..

If you respond with "jw-facts.com" or anything list of anything that sounds remotely apostate, the response will go straight to the garbage can.

I have not attended any meetings in 10 years. My brother is an elder and leaves me alone. He has his son, daughter and other elders call me with information on special Zoom meetings and funeral talks. I take the information down and have listened in a couple of times.
My phone # and address is given out to different Kingdom Halls near my house. Since I have an answering machine, I screen all my calls. Many of them leave a name and the congregation they attend. Some come to my door and leave tracts. I never answer the door, nor call them back. Calling back only opens up a can of worms.

Any suggestions?
I'm sure you know that sending tracts count as ''field service'' hours. It's the easy and lazy way of padding ''field service.'' Do not respond in any way!
if there is evidence that jesus invisibly chose specific men at headquarters in brooklyn new york in 1919 to be his faithful slave and that mandate and ability passed on to future directors...then the answer might just be a resounding maybe.. what is the evidence for this invisible appointment and what is the evidence that this is just watchtower mythology?.
i hope jws like scholar and fisherman will explain why the trust the gb.. i must be honest, i see no evidence at all to put trust in either the 1919 selection or the current men taking the lead in warwick.

Tweet from Jerome:
The governing body has not only declared themselves to be the faithful and discreet slave, but they also elevate themselves to the level of equality with God and Christ.
one thing i notice from sitting through a number of broadcasts is just how much these guys love their titles.
it's always brother such-and-such, member of the gb, helper to the teaching committee, etc.
it's never simply brother such-and-such, a local elder with such-and-such congregation.. it seems to me the witnesses are pretty quick to pick up on catholics who call their priests father, which at the end of the day is in much the same vein simply a title.. i suspect these titles point to a huge amount of narcissism of the part of those who revel in such titles, certainly it doesn't seem to fall in line with christ's advocation that the greatest amongst you should be be the least.
Where can we find this pic in the publications...I want to check it out again in the context in which it was printed.

What will help us to keep pace with Jehovah’s organization and maintain our zeal in God’s service?

enoughisenough rules and regulations....that isn't the way I see that picture. I think it is "Jehovah" on the throne and Jesus is totally out of the picture..
I had to think hard on who was sitting on the throne. Jehovah or Jesus? If that is Jehovah, where is Jesus?
You may be right!

Jesus sits in illumination in heaven. Angels are pictured under Jesus in heaven. Where are the Governing Body? The Governing Body are situated in the highest spot on earth. Notice where the individual publishers are? Lowest spot on earth. This illustration was not drawn by mistake!
